Isaiah 7:14 There fore the Lord Himself will give you a sign:
'A Raisen In The Sun...
This is the title of A book, that later became a stage play written by Lorraine Hansberry. I really appreciated this story which was taken from true life stories all over America. And recently re-made was adapted for a motion picture, a movie, Starring Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Aanaa Lathem, Audra McDonald, Morgan Freeman, and Ellie Downs, Bill Nun, David Oyelowo, and more.
The phrase 'like a raisin in the sun' comes from the Bible - Isaiah 7:14. It means that something despised at first, such as a seed, fruit, or idea, will grow once given time and attention. So, the play is saying that even if you fail to achieve some of your goals now, right away, you must strive for them in the future, giving the seed for an idea time to grow, eventually to catch on, and for society to catch up.
This tells me in order to have a close and personal relationship with God. you must want it, beginning with a thought, which is a spiritual seed, you must act on that thought, this means you must pray, read your bible and start to replace bad habits with good ones, this is watering the seed which all the water is from God. as you continue in replace your incorrect habits with correct habits, and your faith will grow, your love for God will grow, thus, brings about a positive effect of having a strong, close and personal relationship with God.

both movie versions depict the times they were living in. This family wanted equal rights, and they refused to be paid off to literally stay in their place, and place that a prejudiced society had chosen for them, being put down, riding the back of the bus, and not being allowed to live in a white neighborhood, blacks were and being treated less than human. This family was spiritual, they depended on God, and spoiler alert, let me tell you when you are doing what the Bible tells us to do you are on God's side. Spoiler alert, "God Wins!" I watched the movie I liked it you watch it and you be the judge.
